• Goal: Checkmate opponent's king. • Play modes: Online, vs. Computer, Local 2-Player. • Vs. Computer setup: Select difficulty, handicap, and hints. • Local 2-Player setup: Choose time control and bet. • Gameplay: Players take turns making moves. • Pawns: Move forward, capture diagonally. • Knights: Move in an "L" shape. • Other pieces: Each has unique movement rules. • Game end: Checkmate or a Draw occurs. • Draw condition (Stalemate): Player has no legal moves but is not in check. • Draw condition (Three-fold): Same position occurs three times. • Draw condition (50-move): 50 moves pass without capture or pawn move. • Draw condition (Material): Insufficient material remains to checkmate. • Draw condition (Agreement): Players mutually agree to a draw. • Castling: Move king two squares and rook to its other side. • Castling condition 1: King and rook must not have moved. • Castling condition 2: Path between king and rook must be clear. • Castling condition 3: King not in check, or passing through/ending on attacked squares. • En Passant: Immediately capture opponent's pawn that moved two squares past yours. • Undo move: Revert your last action. • Post-match analysis: Highlights mistakes and suggests better moves. • Replay game: Review specific moments of a match. • Rating: Your performance is saved and tracked. • Time modes: Select Bullet, Blitz, or Rapid for games. • Customization: Change board and piece appearance. • Move history: Review all moves made in a game. • Emojis: Communicate with your opponent using expressions.
